When I was Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (M.S.) I was unsure of what caused this type of Disease. After talking with my Neurologist I had a better idea of what was happening to my body. His explanation could not have been easier to understand in plain and simple English.
This is the way it was explained to me after I had an MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging). The results were shown to me at my next appointment then the Q & A started and when the explanation began.
My autoimmune system has what are called Radical cells that can not distinguish between good and bad Red or other White blood cells. They think the myelin sheath that covers your nerve endings is damaged when it actually just fine and healthy. So these Radical white blood cells proceed to attack what they believe are being attacked by harmful Bacteria.
When the Myelen sheath is attacked and eaten away Leasions are formed on the Nerve endings. The Central Nervous System is where all the Nerves are located all the way into your brain. So with the Leasions formed your body tries to reprogram the way messages are sent, from one part of your body and Brain to another and received the way it should. The body and mind get to be crosswired on their own just to function properly or attempts to function.
Canada has the highest rate of M. S. per capita, with Alberta where I live has the highest in Canada. They have found the less Sun you get the less Vitamin D your body absorbs so Vitamin supplements ( D, B12, Calcium, Omega 3 ) to name a few that are needed.
There is always Research being done around the World to find the cure. Europe has medication which has not been approved by the FDA in Canada to date. The reason being there is not enough Research done on the products as of now anyways not to mention the cost.
Now with all that said and done let me start to tell you my experience with M.S. in my next post.
First when I run across a good way to help I Contribute as much time and help I can. There is a Giveaway for Marketers to raise money for M.S. Research right now looking for both Contributors and Members.
